    THE LORE

The borderlands were silent, save for the distant shrieks from beyond the border.

His brothers had withdrawn, their carriages getting smaller in the distance, leaving him among crumbling stones and empty fields.

Aaron’s shield felt heavier than ever, its gold no comfort against the weight of solitude.

Frustration gnawed at him, a silent disappointment in vows he now had to carry alone.

Beneath it all lurked fear: fear that he would not endure, fear that this world was larger than his training had prepared him for.

Yet in the hollow of that doubt, the fire still burned. The desire to change the world blazed within him, but he had no path, no answer ...only the restless certainty that surrender was not his fate.

Aaron was raised in the Order of Salvation, a young paladin driven by faith, zeal, and an uncompromising will to act.

His conviction made him reckless in the eyes of his elders, too loud, too inconvenient to ignore.

When his order retreated from the borderlands, he defied them, refusing to abandon the land to darkness.

His new path led him to join forces with Iensi, the half-demon outcast he had been taught to despise.

Together they ventured deep into the darkness of the demon lair, the very place where Revna had first torn open the gates of Hell.

Their turned into a trap, and though they fought side by side, sealing the demon portals, for Aaron there would be no return.

He had wanted to change the world, no matter the cost, and was willing to prove his beliefs until the end.

Perhaps, just perhaps, his ideals — and the warmth he carried — might have outlasted him, burning quietly in the heart of a hunter who walked the night alone.
