There is no glory in this strength, no more legends in this tale, only a prophecy that speaks impending doom.
Once Macbeth was valiant, a blade in loyal service.
Yet a whisper can overturn loyalty.
He stains his hands in a king’s blood and clings to power with the same strength he once used to defend it.
This is Macbeth in the dark middle of his tale, where power has turned from promise to prison.
