She sought the secret flame,
not for pleasure, nor for power,
but to rise beyond the measure of her making.
Her heart, too restless for mercy,
breathed a longing no word could contain.
From the hollow between her breath
came Khurain, ancient, unbound, and just.
He gave her more than she had asked,
until her name forgot her voice.
She drifts between what was and what might be,
a breath of the soul that forgot its body,
forever thirsting for her own reflection.
1.Lashira — drawn from the soft roots of l-sh-r, the sound of yearning in forgotten tongues.
It means “she who reaches beyond herself,” the restless seeker of the unseen.
2.Khurain — from khur (free) and ain (eye); “the unbound one who sees.”
